Philosopher. He taught in the philosophy department of Budapest Technical University from 1974 to 1979, when he was dismissed for his opposition attitude. He taught in Leicester, England, in 1985 and then at the University of Arizona in Tucson, United States, from 1986 to 1989. Since 1990, he has taught in the philosophy department at the University of Pécs, as well as at János Kodolányi College and János Wesley College. He has been a candidate of philosophical studies of the Hungarian Academy of Sciences since 1996.
